Thank you letter from Kim Chi's family

Bac Giang, December 22, 2010

Dear professors, doctors and people from the USA and HSCV,

First of all, we would like to wish you health and sincerely thank for your support.

My son is usually ill since he was small. When we brought him to the hospital, doctors diagnosed that he was suffered from congenital hear disease with VSD."Ventricular septal defect is one of the most common congenital heart defects. The baby may have no symptoms, and the hole can eventually close as the wall continues to grow after birth. If the hole is large, too much blood will be pumped to the lungs, leading to heart failure."

and he needed a surgery. We were very worried as it should require a great amount of money to have a surgery while we were in difficulty. Luckily, we received the support from Bac Giang Association for the Support of Vietnamese Handicapped and Orphans and HSCV. With the support from Hanh, a representative of HSCV, our son was taken to the Heart Department in Hospital E, Ha Noi on December 8, 2010. He had a successful surgery in December 29. Now he is healthy and can play as other normal children. It is your support that has brought a happy life to my son. You are those who gave birth to him the second time.

Thank you very much for all your help. We wish you health and happiness. We hope that you would continue to bring happiness to other children who are suffered from inborn heart problem.

Yours truly,

Parents of patient Nguyen Thi Kim Chi
