It was a great ending to a long week at HSCV. At 4 pm on Friday we received a phone call from Max at Cathay Pacific Ha Noi's office. A few weeks ago I sent a request for Airline tickets for Thao and her Father.
This is the first time Cathay Pacific has granted such a donation and they are pleased to sponsor Thao and her father. This in affect will save HSCV around $3000 USD. It's a great step in our efforts to help Thao.
We are still struggling to find translator(s) and a host family in the Sacramento area. If know of anyone who may be willing to help or anyone may know someone please send me any email.
Ideally we would like to send Thao to the States as early as August. We just need some help with making the pieces of the puzzle fall into place.
