Money raised from the event will go to funding 2 medical teams, travelling to Vietnam. In addition to treating patients, these teams will educate local medical professionals, leaving behind the knowledge needed to treat 1000s. This one night of charity will truly teach many to fish.
TEAM 1 will consist of doctors and nurses traveling to Saigon and Hanoi in October to teach colorectal surgery at the two largest Cancer Hospitals in Vietnam. TEAM 2 will consist of surgeons and nurses from Cardiostart International traveling to the Viet Duc Hospital in Hanoi to perform heart surgery and associated care, FREE OF CHARGE, for children in need.
